On June 12, 2024, a ceremony was held in Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur to celebrate the opening of a new Evacuation Center/Multi-Purpose Covered Court. The project, funded with 36 million pesos, was led by Mayor Ex D. Ocapan and Congresswoman Victoria Yu (representing the 2nd District).
