The long-held dream and request of the people of San Miguel has finally come true! The town now has two fire trucks.Mayor Ex Ocapan, along with Vice Mayor-elect Hon. Wilma Ocapan, SB Members, and Heads of Offices, oversaw the official turnover and blessing of the newly acquired fire truck in front of the Municipal Hall. Requested by the local government unit from the national government, through the efforts of our Fire Marshals in San Miguel, this vehicle will supplement the firefighting capabilities of the local Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).Recently, the BFP has been instrumental in providing support for the Municipality of San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, by responding to emergencies and rescue calls, as well as providing water to different areas of nearby municipalities.
