San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur – Over 200 TUPAD beneficiaries received their cash assistance yesterday in a payout event held at the Municipal Gymnasium.

The Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program is a government initiative that provides temporary employment opportunities to displaced and disadvantaged workers.

Each beneficiary received ₱3,810, which is intended to help them cope with financial difficulties.

The payout was made possible through the collaboration of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the provincial government led by Governor Victor J. Yu, and the Municipal Government under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Ex D. Ocapan.

This assistance highlights the government’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and promoting inclusive economic growth.
